As schools around our community get ready to start back up for the new school year, jubilant parents (and reluctant children) recognize the unofficial end of summer.

August 9th, we will be observing Promotion Sunday for our children and youth—the day they move up to their new grade and class for the upcoming school year. Whether it’s moving from the Nursery to Early Elementary, Third to Fourth Grade, Sixth to Seventh Grade, or from High School Seniors to Young Adults, these transitions can bring both excitement and anxiety.

Our Family Ministries team wants to come alongside families during this important milestone, helping children and students feel welcomed, connected, and ready for the year ahead. If you and your family have not yet connected to a small group Bible study, we want to encourage you to join us. It’s a great time to get plugged in for the whole family!
