Join us for Power Surge on Saturday, April 20th, from 8:30am – 2pm — a Family Event hosted by Vansickle Baptist Church and Ridgecrest Baptist Church. It’s a combo event with Parent Recharge being offered for parents and the Amazing Kids Chemistry Show offered for kids.
During the Parent Recharge, Josh and Sarah Denhart will walk through practical ways parents can lead their kids to a lifelong faith. Through breakout sessions and Q&A times, adults will learn about five factors that have been found in children who stayed connected to Christ after leaving home as young adults. While that may feel like it is a long way in the future, it is never too early to invest in your child’s faith journey. You will walk away energized in your vital role as the spiritual leader for your children with useful, ready-to-implement family habits.
At the same time, kids ages 4 through 6th grade, will enjoy The Amazing Chemistry Show— an educational and entertaining experience using hands-on, engaging science activities to captivate kids’ attention and share the gospel in a unique and electrifying way.
Last but not least, nursery care is available for children under the age of 4 and includes age-appropriate science activities as well.
The cost is just $5 per person (Nursery / PreK-6th / Adult) and includes breakfast, lunch, all conference materials for adults, and experiment supplies for kids.
