These words remind us of the importance of God’s word. There are many things we can seek to build our lives on, but one will have a lasting legacy: the Word of God. Here at Vansickle Baptist Church we have such a rich tradition of strong, in-depth, Bible study. We want to encourage everyone to get plugged into a Bible study group… no matter the age level! We’ve got something for everyone!
We want to see you grow in your relationship with God through studying the Bible with others. This is important to us because, we know that as people grow in their understanding of the Bible and in their relationship with God, they are better equipped to face the challenges of life.
We encourage you to make plans to join us for one of the most important hours of your week. We have some of the best teachers in Hunt County who have a heart to teach and disciple.
We have groups for all ages and would love to have you and your family join us. Join us this Sunday at 9:15 a.m., and invite a friend!

Adults
Anchored | The Anchored class is a mixed-age Adult class modeled after Hebrews 6:19. They are a group who love the Lord Jesus Christ (our Anchor) and delight in studying God’s word! All are welcome. Currently meeting in Room 108, taught by Mike Eakin.
The Fam | The Fam is a mixed-age Adult class with a family-like atmosphere that meets to learn and discuss the truth from God’s word. All ages are welcome. Currently meeting in Room 118, taught by Jeff Grisham.
Women of Faith | Women of Faith is a mixed-age Ladies’ class, dedicated to learning, praying, loving, and walking by faith. “Without faith it is impossible to please HIM. For he who comes to God must believe that HE is and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him” (Hebrews 11:6). Open to women of all ages. Currently meeting in Room 107.
Open Adults Class | Open Adults is a mixed-age Adult class that meets in the Fellowship hall. They are working their way through the Explore the Bible curriculum from Lifeway. The class has a broad range of ages and interests all coming together under God’s word. Currently meeting in Room 116 & 117, taught by Terry Helton.
Mosaic | Mosaic is a mixed-age Adult class. A “mosaic” is a piece of art made up of broken pieces. Many in the Mosaic group have been broken in various ways in life. With God’s help, they’ve experienced restoration and wholeness in HIS eyes. Mosaic enjoys monthly fellowship, praying for one another, and communicating thoughts and prayer needs through their Facebook page. All ages are welcome. Currently meeting in the Fellowship Hall, taught by David Weiland.
Bible Studies for Life | Bible Studies for Life is a mixed-age Adult class using the topical studies from Lifeway’s Bible study of the same name. Currently meeting in Room 103, taught by Gary & Jean Pamplin.
Pathways | A seasonal bible study that looks at founational topics in the Christian life. Currently meeting in Room 106.
Young Professionals | Young Professionals is a mixed-age Young Adult class (18-30) that utilizes the Explore the Bible curriculum from Lifeway. They prefer a discussion-based approach to studying Scripture and invite all young adults to come and experience their class. Currently meeting in Room 111, taught by Carl and Mandy Brown.
Youth
The students meet together upstairs in the Multi-Purpose Building at 9:15am for announcements, prayer, and an opening, then dismiss into smaller groups at 9:30am. They are using the Explore the Bible curriculum from Lifeway and invite all students in 7th-12th grades to come.
Youth I Coed Class (7th-9th Grades) — Starts in the Student Ministry Room, breaks to Room 116. Currently taught by Roger and Jackie Dawson.
Youth II Coed Class (10th-12th Grades) — Begins and Ends in the Student Ministry Room (Room 110). Taught by Ryan and Meagan Moeder.
