Visiting a church can be a frightening thing…
Maybe you are returning to church, or coming for the very first time… You may feel like people are watching you or maybe that people will judge you. “Will the preacher condemn me from the stage?” “Will people judge me if I look differently than they do?” We’ve all had those same questions about our “first day” at church.
Some things to know: You will find we are a very friendly group of folks. If you don’t understand something, just ask. Here is a quick summary of what you can expect at our church to help avoid any worries. You will find helpful information on location, times, dress, and campus layout.
On Sunday afternoons at 6:00 pm we gather again for a casual time of discussion, digging deeper into the themes discussed in the morning worship service.
We meet for bible study on Wednesdays, too. At 6:30 pm we host various activities for all ages–RA’s and GA’s are offered for children in grades 1st-6th, while our youth gather with other students grades 7th-12th for a great time of fun, games, and worship in the Flood Student Ministry Youth Room, and our adults meet for Bible Study and Prayer in the Fellowship Hall.
