It is clear that Cancer has touched the lives of so many families. Because of this, Vansickle Baptist Church believes strongly in providing an impactful ministry to those who are going through the fight–whether a survivor or a caregiver! So, when the Relay for Life organization reached out to us to see if we would be interested in hosting the dinner, we jumped at the opportunity. Now over 5 years later, we have become a familiar face serving those who’ve been impacted by the fight against Cancer.
It is such a joyous opportunity to love on all the families in attendance. We count it a delight to serve and minister to such a wonderful group of people.
We invite all church members to come and serve with us, Friday night, May 4th. Doors open to survivors at 6pm, so church members should plan on arriving as early as 4:30 pm.
If you have coolers and / or roasters that we can borrow, that would be a tremendous help.
