COVENANT KIDS

Our Fourth to Sixth graders make up the Covenant Kids ministry.  A covenant is a promise made between two individuals, with rules and conditions, whereby an agreeable or profitable relationship may exist between two parties. A covenant can be the expressed will and testament of one party, by which the other party, if compliant, gains an inheritance.  The Fourth through Sixth grade kids are our covenant to the church and lost world for a new generation of leaders.  In Covenant Kids our job is to show this group how to take ownership of their relationship with Christ.  In doing so they will be more equipped to show the lost world who Christ is through their everyday actions and mission projects. 

Ultimately, as your child grows, our ministry opportunities for and to them do so as well. We want to provide a fun, active, learning environment for your child as well as opportunities for them to build lasting relationships with other children and especially with the Lord Jesus himself. This is an amazing time to see and encourage growth in your child’s character.

Bible Study Groups
Traditionally known as Sunday School, our Bible Study Groups meet for an an hour of fun and dynamic bible study that begins at 9:15 every Sunday morning. We have classes for all ages, birth-6th grade, with fun, age appropriate, bible-based curriculum.

Royal Ambassadors / Girls in Action
RA's and GA's are programs we hold on Wednesday night for 1st - 6th graders. These are mission organizations that allow children to learn about missionaries, about different people around the world, how to p ray for missionaries and those they are trying to reach, and much more.

Children's Choir
Children’s Choir is for children age 5 to 6th grade. This is held on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. during our evening service. We try to do at least 2 musical a year.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a weeklong program in the summer for children K-6th grades. This is a fun, high energy, bible learning week your child will not want to miss!  This year VBS will be held Monday, June 21st - Friday, June 25th.

Summer Camps
We have several summer camping trips planned for our Covenant Kids.  Both our GAs and RAs will be attending camp at Riverbend in Glenrose, TX.  GAs will be going July 20th-24th, and the RAs will be going August 10th-14th.
