Senior Adult Ministry of Vansickle Baptist church!

Our seniors are one of the greatest assets we have in the work we do here at Vansickle Baptist Church.  They have a wealth of knowledge, experience and wisdom that other members of our church family crave.  In addition, they have the time and resources to give to meet many of the needs within the church like no other generation. We realize that equipped with the proper motivation, training and organization, this group of adults can make a tremendous impact in the church and community around us, and has the potential to leave a legacy of godliness that will inspire generations to come.

We invite you to come be a part of JOY, the seniors group of Vansickle Baptist Church. Please join us for all the great times of Christian fellowship we enjoy as we come together.  Some of the activities we have enjoyed in the past include:

• Lake Country Jubilee (Gospel concerts in Terrell)

• Dogwood Trail --- Texas State Railroad --- Azalea Trail

• Santa Land --- Mesquite Rodeo --- The Promise (Glen Rose)

• Sam Rayburn Home and Library & More

• Game Nights first Thursday every month 6-9 PM
  (Evenings of good food and fellowship)

• JOY Eat Out (2nd Sunday after evening service)
