CORNERSTONE KIDS

Kindergarten to Third Grade are the Cornerstone Kids, as the Cornerstone is the main support of a building in the original meaning, the Kindergarten through Third graders are one of the major cornerstones in the church’s ministry.  By the time a child is age 9 they will have developed their basic understanding of who God is and what Christianity is all about.  It is our job in the Cornerstone Kids ministry to help lay a strong and permanent foundation of who our true Lord and Savior is and to show them that He is relevant to their daily lives.

Ultimately, as your child grows, our ministry opportunities for and to them do so as well. We want to provide a fun, active, learning environment for your child as well as opportunities for them to build lasting relationships with other children and especially with the Lord Jesus himself. This is an amazing time to see and encourage growth in your child’s character.

Sunday School
Sunday School is an hour of bible study that begins at 9:45 every Sunday morning. We have classes for all ages, birth-6th grade, with fun, age appropriate, bible-based curriculum.

Children's Church
Children’s Church is held during 2nd service and is a fun, kid-style worship time for kids in K-3rd grades. Your child is free to worship with you or attend children’s church.

Royal Ambassadors / Girls in Action
RA's and GA's are programs we hold on Wednesday night for 1st - 6th graders. These are mission organizations that allow children to learn about missionaries, about different people around the world, how to pray for missionaries and those they are trying to reach, and much more.

Children's Choir
Children’s Choir is for children age 5 to 6th grade. This is held on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. during our evening service. We try to do at least 2 musical a year.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a weeklong program in the summer for children K-6th grades. This is a fun, high energy, bible learning week your child will not want to miss!  This year VBS will be held Monday, June 21st - Friday, June 25th.

Summer Camps
We have several summer camping trips planned for our Covenant Kids.  Both our GAs and RAs will be attending camp at Riverbend in Glenrose, TX.  GAs will be going July 20th-24th, and the RAs will be going August 10th-14th.
