Prayer Matters. If you are interested in volunteering as a Prayer Warrior for the Prayer Room please contact Leslie Kuhn. Please come visit the Prayer Room and pray at our Ministry Prayer Wall. This is a new addition to the room and a great resource  to help guide us as we pray  for the ministries of our church.

J.O.Y. Group. JOY Group will have their monthly game night on September 9th at 6 pm. Come enjoy fellowship and bring a dish.

Informational Meeting. We will have our quarterly informational meeting on September 12th during the evening service.

Philippine Missionary Visit. We will have an update from the Philippine church that we sponsor for Steve and Urlinda Macon on Wednesday, September 15th during the evening service. Our missionary has asked if any of our church members would be willing to open their homes for a night. If you would like to help please see Amelia or Sue in the office or call 903.883.4619.

Ladies’ Ministry.  On September 18th at First Baptist Quinlan from 9-4 the ladies’ ministry will be attending a Beth Moore web cast. The cost is $15 per person pre- paid (which includes lunch) or $20 at the door.

RA Ranger & Rally. The RA’s will be attending the Rally @ the Rangers game on October 2nd. Tickets will be $11 a person. See Larry Chreene for more info.

Pastor Appreciation. October 3rd is Pastor Appreciation. Don’t forget to tell Bro. Roger and Judi how much they mean to this church.

WMU Meeting. On October 4th the WMU will have their quarterly meeting in the kitchen at noon.

Fall Festival. Our Fall Festival is approaching fast on Sunday, October 31st. We are trying to get ideas for design layout with our judgment house. This year we will be incorporating a wider age range with a trunk-or-treat and a judgment house. See Amanda Ashmore if you would like to help in this area.
