Vansickle Baptist Church is located south of Greenville, Texas, at 2181 County Road 2246 (it's off FM 1564 W, between Hwy 34 and Hwy 36).  We are right in the middle of several surrounding communities -- Greenville, Caddo Mills, Quinlan, Lone Oak, and Royse City. We are thrilled to be part of what is happening here and hope you will visit!  Come worship with us this Sunday at 10:30 am.

FLOOD STUDENT MINISTRIES -- Our middle and high school students come together each week for a great time of fun and devotion. On Wednesday nights we mix things up--sometimes we meet just for the sake of having fun and growing closer in our friendships, but other times we may gather for a more intimate time of worship or a practical look at how God's Word (the Bible) applies to everyday life.  On Sundays we challenge youth to go even deeper into God's Word and see how they can live out their faith in various day-to-day situations.

Our hope is to partner with parents to the train up teens into Godly men and women in Christ.

Nursery / Preschool / Cornerstone Kids / Covenant Kids -
Each weekend your children can be a part of an exciting and active environment filled with songs, games and a lovable volunteer staff that teach Godly values at an age-appropriate level... whether your child is in the nursery/preschool age or on up into the preteen age, we have a special time planned just for them.

So while you are experiencing the creative, life-changing worship of Vansickle Baptist Church, your children are experiencing it for themselves as well.

God created each of us to have a relationship with Him.  That's why everything we do in worship is designed to help you build your relationship with God and help you engage in meaningful dialogue with Him.  Music is a powerful medium through which are souls are often stirred; thus, we offer a blended musical service, mixing contemporary with new arrangements of some of our favorite traditional hymns. 

While music is important, so too are the messages we share... messages from the Bible that are relevant to all aspects of everyday life. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, God wants for you to experience HIM.  Come meet with God   - Sundays at 10:30 am

While flowers will fade and trees will wither, there is only one thing guaranteed to stand forever: God's Word. That's why we are so blessed at Vansickle Baptist Church, because we have such a rich tradition in strong, in-depth, Bible study. On Sunday morning we want to encourage people to get into God's word... at every age level!  

Our desire is for all individuals to grow in their relationship with God through studying the Bible with others.  As people grow in their understanding of the Bible and their relationship with God, they are better equipped to face the challenges of life.  We want you to find a study that will help you connect with God in a deeper way.

As we gather together here at the church and as various ministries outside the church, we do so with great purpose.  Often times that purpose is for the sake of encouraging one another to remain faithful in our walk with the Lord, but some times we just want to have a good time and enjoy one another.  That's what is so great about FELLOWSHIP.  Once a quarter we strive to have a church-wide fellowship where we can do both of those things.  Afterall, God said, "It is not good for man to be alone."  Why?  Because there is strength in encouragement when we gather together.  Look for more info about our upcoming fellowships.

As we go forward into the 2010 year, Prayer must serve as a staple in all that we do.  As such, we're asking our church body to be diligent in prayer for the following areas:

* In Bible Study we hope to see a 15% increase in attendance, and establish several new Bible Study groups.
* In Worship we hope to see an increase in participation by 10%.
* In Giving we would like to see an increase by 5%.
* In Baptisms we want to see a total number of 46 baptisms.
* For every member to be actively involved in a Ministry within the church.
* General and specific Prayer for the church, it's leaders, and the respective ministries of the church.
